Setting up Syncio for WooCommerce Stores involves 4 simple steps:

  1. Creating a Syncio Account.
  2. Selecting the type of Syncio App (Parent or Child Store).
  3. Entering your WooCommerce Details and connecting to your store.
  4. Inviting another store to connect to yours (optional).

1. Creating a Syncio Account

After accessing the special installation link provided, click on "I do not have an Account" and then click on the "Install Syncio for WooCommerce" button to begin the account registration process.

A Syncio account is required to use app.

You will then be prompted to enter:

  1. A Username.
  2. Your email address (only one can be registered per account).
  3. A password.

Click on Create Account when the form is completed. 

2. Selecting the type of Syncio App (Parent or Child Store)

After accepting a Syncio plan to complete the app activation, you then be prompted to select the Syncio app type for the webstore you are installing Syncio for.

Syncio is divided into two companion apps, Parent and Child apps.

The Parent Store app is connected to the Shopify store that contains the master product listings and controls the master inventory numbers. Typically product creation and inventory management should be handled on this store. It also has the ability to transmit stock and product updates to a connected child store.

The Child Store app is connected to any Shopify stores intended to receive product updates and stock information from a source store.

3. Entering your WooCommerce Details and connecting to your store.

Select WooCommerce in the drop down menu and type in the URL of your WooCommerce store. Clicking on Register Syncio will redirect you to your store to verify the installation.

*Important please ensure that you type in your WooCommerce home page address.

For example:

the https://www. part is not needed.

4. Connecting to other webstores (optional).

Each web-store using Syncio is assigned a unique Syncio Key. These keys are used to connect stores to allow products to be synced. You can also find your key on the Syncio homepage when you login.

Alternatively it is possible to use Syncio to send an automated invitation to a Shopify or a WooCommerce store using our Email invitation feature.

Once completed you will then be redirected to your Syncio Dashboard.
