Disconnecting Stores

What happens to synced products when a disconnection request is processed by Syncio

When either store disconnects from the other one, there are two options.

1️⃣ Disconnect and KEEP
This disconnects the stores and ends the sync between related products from source to destination. As a result of this choice, the following will happen:

  • As KEEP was selected, no products will be removed from the Destination store

  • To prevent oversell, the stock of synced products from this store will be set to zero (If you have inventory sync disabled, the stock won't be set to zero)

  • You’ll no longer see the disconnected store or their products in Syncio

  • Previously synced products from this store will no longer:

    • Receive inventory or product detail updates

    • Sync stock when orders are placed

    • Be valid for order pushing

2️⃣ Disconnect and DELETE
This disconnects the stores and ends the sync between related products from source to destination, also deleting the product on the destination store. Deleting a product is not reversible, and you'd need to reconnect to the store and import the product again to restore it. You can also achieve the same results by simply deleting any synced product via your Shopify/Woo/Shopline admin.

These actions are not reversible.

If any of the stores uninstall Syncio without disconnecting first this will break the sync for all imported products.

We also recommend reaching out to your partner store to let them know as soon as you disconnect.
